RINSE is among 200+ participants who will be cleaning Purgatory Creek Watershed at 8:15 Saturday morning. You are welcome to sign up for any watershed area, or not sign up at all. Just know, if you sign up, you get a free t-shirt 🙂

We are excited to welcome our guest speaker, Jacob Bilbo, who will give a short presentation on habitat restoration in the San Marcos River.We will also be talking to members interested being officers for next semester. So if this is something that interest you, please attend this meeting.Last but not least, if you have any logo ideas, please bring them.
Saturday March 28th is the 13th annual Bobcat Build at Strahan Coliseum. Please make sure you arrive on time by 8am (if you want to the freebies and food!) ALSO: Please try and carpool, as parking is very limited. Park at Bobcat Stadium (east & west), or off Mill Street.

On March 7th the 30th annual Great Texas Ricer Cleanup was held and proved to be a huge success! With more than 500 volunteers showing up (and RINSE!!) we helped pick up more than 6.85 tons of trash and 6.27 tons of recycling with 186 tires total! Can you believe we are making such a huge impact?? Way to go everyone! Cannot wait until the next big clean up!

This weekend was a great success! RINSE joined the city of San Marcos to help clean up Willow Creek Watershed! Thank you to everyone who showed up and put in hard work to get the job done! Also, thanks to everyone who stuck with us Saturday to clean up our Adopt-A-Spot. The city is looking shiny clean! Keep checking back with us (and Facebook) to see what we have going on next.

Saturday is the Annual Great Texas River Clean up. If you register to volunteer with RINSE then you are on the orange team. You are to meet promptly at 9am wearing proper shoes, long pants, and long sleeves. Gloves and trash bags will be provided. The orange team is parking at the baseball fields at: 601 S CM Allen Pkwy San Marcos, Tx. Once you park, walk across the street to the Veterans Memorial Park where we will meet under the red gazebo. (directions below)
After the clean up is finished, we will meet at the Lions Park to have a free lunch provided for us. When we have all finished we will then do a quick clean up at our adopt-a-spot and then we are all done!
We are looking forward to having everyone out tomorrow!
